Dear Readers,

Frustration, anger, and disappointment hang like a dark cloud over having to regrettably cancel my upcoming attendance at all US-based book signing events for 2025, and possibly much longer. 

The current political climate between the USA and Canada has put me in an untenable position. I am unable to join so many of my friends and readers at the Love and Devotion, Burbank, CA event and the Rocky Mountain Reader’s Retreat, Denver, CO. for the foreseeable future.

President Trump, on his mission to destroy the many years of unified collaboration between our two nations with his egregious tariff campaign, has removed any possible benefit to my business, other than to see your lovely faces in person again. That saddens me the most. 

As a Canadian author and avid past supporter of several US-hosted book conventions, I trust you can appreciate my predicament. Your support in my difficult decision to cancel all US book cons during this time of political uncertainty is greatly appreciated.

It was a wonderful night of celebration of the voices that fill our ears. It was great to have 5 of my 7 narrators nominated for The Irishman’s Promise in attendance for this event. I am grateful for the nomination, and to have my partners in crime by my side.
