Updates!

Re-released in June with an updated cover, The Creative Director – The Heart Never Lies (one of my most popular and talked about novels) is still the same steamy office romance, torn between two lovers, with a side order of experimental sexual experiences that previous readers enjoyed.

With this story taking place in an advertising agency, I wanted the new book cover to have a fashion magazine appeal to it. I have a keen interest in advertising and modeling (I did a bit of that in my youth). In the 80s, I was so enamoured with the likes of Kim Alexis, Elle Macpherson, Carol Alt, Linda Evangelista, and Kelly LeBrock that I saved the covers of Glamour, Vouge, and Harper’s Bazaar magazines featuring the lovely faces of my favourite supermodels as inspiration. I devoured every article as though there were a time limit before the words would self destruct.

Please don’t tell my husband, but to this day, hidden in a box of other 80s collectables somewhere in my crawl space, there is a massive stack of fashion magazine covers that haven’t seen the light of day in many years. One day I will have an office large enough to frame each cover to create a private art installation for me to enjoy.
